If anyone doesn't know, Walter Moers is the most amazing author ever. Critical Dialogues in Southeast Asian Studies.. In fact the cover above is just the same art from City so I expect some sort of change for the final. I think he is an absolute genius. This book seems to be a sequel of sorts to the third and probably my favorite Zamonia novel, The City of Dreaming Books. University of Washington Press - Books in Series - Critical. I love how out-of-this-world his imagination is. It has been awhile since I have actually read a book that reminds me so much of Lewis Carroll's work but Walter Moers' work does. I haven't read Rumo yet, but both The 13 1/2 Lives of Captain Bluebear and especially The City of Dreaming Books were both incredibly enjoyable and also very much recommended. Though the fourth in a series, The City of Dreaming Books was the first that I read and I had no trouble reading it as a standalone. I read this one a long time ago.
